Over 30 minutes of footage was added to this mega-budget Costner flick when it originally aired on ABC television, and all of that footage is included here including a shot at the end where Helen and Enola are standing on a mountain and uncover a plaque that tells them they are standing on Mount Everest! This scene was reportedly only included in the first ABC telecast of the movie.

Eighteen hours of actual court room trial footage from the trial of Damien Echols and Jason Baldwin, who were tried and found guilty in the murder of three eight-year old boys in 1993. The popular HBO films Paradise Lost and Paradise Lost 2 brought national attention to this case, and many supporters for the convicted continue to this day to seek justice. This footage includes the opening statements, as well as testimonies from Dana Moore, Pamela Hobbs, Melissa Byers, Debra O'Tinger, Brian Woody, Regina Meek, John Moore, Mike Allen, Bryn Ridge, Dr. Frank Peretti, Joel Mullins, Shane Griffen, Glen Massengale, Dr. Dale Griffis, Lisa Sakevicius, Kermit Channell, John Murray, Christy Vanvickle and Jodee Medford. This is raw footage, unedited. Quality of the recording is very rough - video and audio are distorted, but it is fascinating material for anyone with a serious interest in this case. |

Eerie dramatization of the investigation of the 1947 murder of the Black Dahlia, Elizabeth Short. This made for TV movie has Zimbalist as the obsessed detective interviewing witnesses, acquaintances and suspects to the brutal murder, in which a young woman was brutally mutilated and bisected before having her corpse dumped in a field. Lucie Arnaz bears a striking resemblance to the real Black Dahlia, and portrays the doomed girl impressively. While the film doesn't grasp the feel of the 40's, it is a must-see for anyone with an interest in this historic unsolved homicide. |

A police sargeant on the Scottish mainland receives an anonymous letter, from the offshore community of Summerisle, asking him to investigate the disappearance of a young girl there. He travels to the remote isle and discovers a secretive, tightly knit neo-pagan society. Being a devout Christian, he is shocked by the islanders' open sexuality and ritualistic devotion to the "old gods." As the mystery of the missing girl unravels, he begins to suspect that she is a victim of human sacrifice. In the film's chilling final sequence, the truth is revealed when the sargeant meets the "wicker man." This version of the film is the 102 minute director's cut - the timing is less due to conversion from PAL format. Incudes more footage than the 87 minute version, including nudity and some erotic scenes which were cut. |
